August passes Quickly!

                                                   I often think about writing a blog, really I do!  I do have the time, just not much subject matter.  It's been hot, really hot.  We mostly stay indoors listening to the AC's try to keep us cool.  Many days our temperature has been in the upper 90's and the feels like close to 105.  Venturing out only for necessities and to visit family.  

We spend time reading and watching YouTube.  Now that we have Acorn we usually watch that in the evenings.  We've been binge watching Midsomer Murders.  Started with the first one.  It's fun to see the ones we've missed and picking out all the actors we know from other shows and movies

Jim has been out more than me, doing chores outside or walking.  Even my heat loving husband says it's to hot.  

We've had a fair bit of rain also.  But that's Florida.  Some were humongous storms and some were pop-ups.  Reminds me of New Orleans.  At least the rains cool down the temperature, for a little while
