Rain in our future?

Today Jim had doctor appointments so we headed into Tallahassee around 0900. Sky was overcast and upon checking the forecast it called for rain. We did get some sprinkles but no rain.

The appointments were in the same building on different floors. First up was a look at his heart with contrast die. Second stop was with his doctor and we’re happy to report all is well! The doctor even cut back one of his medications, always a good thing.

It was after 1100 so we decided to grab some lunch. I rattled off a list of foods and decided Soup and Salad sounded good. So Olive Garden here we come! Though we don’t eat all we want,  we do enjoy the soup, salad and breadsticks. Jim had an Italian Margarita and I had a Bellini Peach Raspberry tea. All of it quite tasty.

We didn’t need groceries so we headed home. Still no rain, just a couple of drops here and there. No rain all afternoon.

Now we’re relaxing and ready for bed. Trying to stream a show and it’s storming outside! Waves and waves of rain interrupting our Acorn show.

Because of the hurricane there have been Flamingo sightings from here to Northern  states.  Everyday brought new reports of the Flamingos and it reminded me of this old, retired supplies I have. so I made a couple cards

Long Pants and Socks

                                             Now it feels like Autumn!

Saturday was very pleasant.  Capris and a pedicure.  Spent the afternoon with Sonsearae.  After she closed the Post Office in Woodville she headed our way and we had lunch at Seineyard right here at the entrance to our campground.  I must say it's very tempting as Jim loves seafood especially if it's fried! We met out front and had a great lunch.  They split a fried platter and I had a baked potato and a salad.  We had some time to kill before our pedicure so we came home and chatted.

We left for our appointment and Jim took a nap.  After our toes and feet looked better we went to Publix right next door and picked up a few bargains. We both love spending time with her.

Sunday was a football day.  We didn't watch a lot of it because we have limited channels and the teams they showed weren't all that interesting to us.  We did watch the Chiefs Game. Had pizza

Sunday night is when the colder weather moved in.  Dipped into the 40's overnight.  Same for Monday night.  We both have worn socks and long pants.  Right now it's 86 outside at 1400, Tuesday afternoon

Gardening and Weather

We were both outside early this morning getting chores done because rain was forecast. All it did was sprinkle here and there. I finished potting up my plants. Butter lettuce, tomato, basil, oregano. Repotted others. Jim trimmed a crepe Myrtle
It’s nice being outside, enjoying our milder temperatures

Our sunrise was quite pretty this morning
