Heat Advisories!

Not sure if it’s normal for the area but we keep getting the advisories every few days about excessive high temperatures.  In the afternoon it climbs into the upper 90’s, low 100’s.  The Weather Channel lets us know the best times to be outdoors.  So generally anything outside is done before noon.

Jim has gotten into a routine that has helped tremendously with the coughing.  I think it’s safe to say we both are happy about this.  He’s also using the cpap for a couple hours each night.  Hopefully this will improve as time goes by.

We’re getting a new refrigerator on Monday.  Last summer in Florida the present one started acting up.  The freezer works great but the refrigerator doesn’t cool adequately in hot weather.  The thing freezes up and the whole unit has to be shut down to thaw.  Managed ok during this past winter.  Yes, we did try to get it repaired.  Not my area! I don’t work on Samsung! Etc etc etc.  So a new unit.

Just got new rear tires for the truck.  There was a leak in one and Jim took it in to be repaired and got the good news that they needed to be replaced.
