Tchefuncta River from our campground
Last night I watched the CMA award show, thank you Jim! He doesn't care for it.
We were in bed at our normal time knowing we had to leave Betty's and move ever eastward.
Our drive over to Fairview State Park, http://www.crt.state.la.us/parks/iFairview.aspx was short and sweet. We stopped at Dixie RV, http://www.dixierv.com/, mostly to eat and have a pit stop. But while there we looked at coaches because Anne and Scotty are lookig for a new one. Nothing jumped out and called their name but we had fun looking and picking out the flaws!
Another 30 minute drive and we arrived at the campground near Madisonville, La. We only have water and electric but the bathhouse is clean and has plenty of hot water! This state park is beautiful and if yo're in the area you need to stay here. $18 a night unless you have a Golden Age Pass, then it's $9! We've all agreed that if we didn't have to be elsewhere we'd stay longer.
The weather has gotten colder with the lows tonight in the low 40's. So we're wearing long pants and shoes again. I think we came north way to early in the season! :)
I'm watching Dancing with the Stars and Jim is playing games on his puter. Boo is asleep in my lap....life is good.
