I have to admit that writing this blog is a task I put off! There isn't much to write about. We live a quiet, simple life and nothing rarely happens
Our last two days of the cruise was fun. We went to an onboard chocolate and wine tasting. Did you know that an opened bottle of wine should be consumed in three days or less? I guess I need to drink my wine more quickly as I do tend to hoard it.
We spent the last day at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. This is Disney's private island. There is a family beach and an adult beach. The bring all that's necessary to serve a BBQ lunch, which was quite tasty. We also got to feed the sting rays! This was very cool and didn't last as long as I'd like. We also got to swim and snorkel with them. I could not get the hang of this as I couldn't see much with the mask on. So I contented myself with watching them glide through the water. Speaking of the water it was quite chilly! Once in you got used to it
Here she is, wading out enjoying the clear water at the adult beach. Sonsearae likes the water! She always has.
All to soon it was time to head back to the ship and as the sun set we headed home
On Wednesdays Sonsearae usually works half day at the Woodville post office and we meet for lunch. Yesterday, after picking her up, we headed to Mission BBQ. This restaurant is very tasty and Patriotic. They like to offer the military, first responders and law enforcement free food and of course recognition. Yesterday I received a US Flag pin. After lunch we headed to Bed, Bath and Beyond to see if we could find some bargains. The store is closing and it was quite empty. Picked up a couple face cloths, ice trays etc.
Then it was off to Costco for some necessities which cost a whole lot more!
All to soon we had to take Sonsearae home and we divvied up our purchases. Spent some time with Chris and Louie, then headed home. By the way Louie is our newest family member, a French Bulldog. He's so cute!!! Just a puppy and Chris is training him.
