Rockport, Texas

We left Bentsen Palm RV Resort around 0930 this morning. Our drive to Rockport, Texas was uneventful, a couple stops and we arrived under cloudy skies. Anne and Scotty followed us because we're traveling to Florida together. Scotty had trouble with his boat coming loose so we stopped at this Citgo station and when Jim left to help Boo kept looking for him!

We're staying at the Bahia Vista campground. It isn't as posh as what we just left but it suits our needs. We're on the coast and we can smell the salt water. We have humidity here! It's about 90% as I write this. In the valley we lived with 20% most of the time.
We had a seafood dinner at Charlotte Plummer's Seafare Restaurant. I had a grilled platter and Jim had fried. It came with soup and salad and we sure ate our fill and still brought home some for tomorrow.

After dinner the guys walked the waterfront looking at the boats and Anne and I went across the street to check out beach attire. We had fun looking and she bought a necklace.

The Scott's haven't been here before so we drove the waterfront for a bit then turned back towards the campground. We stopped and fueled up at $2.09 a gallon for diesel.

Once we got home the four of us walked down to the pier with Boo. To bad the sun wasn't out it would have been lovely. Saw some gulls, pelicans and a white heron. The water was almost flat

Now we're watching a WWII movie with a cast of thousands! not really but I recognize a lot of the actors.
