Happy Mother's Day!

Friday while we were in Lake Havasu City Fed Ex delivered my present from Sonsearae. But we got back to late to get it. The office was closed. :( Saturday morning I walked down to the office expecting to pick up a small package. But once again Sonsearae surprised me. She sent this lovely Orchid as a gift for Mother's Day.

It has two staked stalks of buds and there is another one sprouting. Hopefully I can care for it and get more flowers.

Anne and Scotty, Jim and I went to Riverside Casino for our free breakfast buffet yesterday. Once again we managed to over eat! Why is it when it's free and a buffet you think you have to stuff yourselves? We all had omelets and bacon. From there it was fruit, pastries and various other tasty tidbits! Jim had biscuit and gravy too! The coffee was decent so refills were welcomed.

They also have some old slot machines that you can see with the same link. When we finally got back home Anne and I went grocery shopping. Just needed to pick up some basics....and I managed to forget bread. Oh well, guess I'll head out again today.
