We met John and Bridget in 2009 at an RV-Dreams Rally in Kerrville, Texas. We were drawn together by this and the fact that we each had a Mobile Suites RV. Since that time we've kept in touch via social media and we even tried to meet up in Jacksonville but I'm not sure why that didn't happen. I seem to recall something about rain. No matter because one of the nice things about this lifestyle is opportunities will crop up.
John and Bridget happen to be in Essex Junction Vermont to work the Escapees RV Rally and they took time yesterday to meet up with us in Middlebury Vermont.

We met around noon and since it was lunch time we took them to Two Brothers Tavern where we've enjoyed lunch before. It was ever so much fun chatting and catching up. It was delightful to hear Bridget's accent! I love a southern accent and have not heard one in quite some time. You see, they're from Mississippi and that southern drawl sounds like home to me.
After lunch we strolled around and we showed them the river and waterfalls. We went into a couple shops and then decided to head to A and W so the guys could get a root beer float. Bridget opted for some ice cream as the afternoon was warming up and I had a small root beer. More talking and then it was time to say goodbye. More hugs and saying we need to meet up again we parted. They driving north and we headed south.
